A unique start to your career
The Sandberg Development Graduate Program is a trainee program for engineers and economists who want to kickstart their careers. Participants take on a project‑based role in one of our companies and get the opportunity to run real projects linked to some of society’s most critical areas – water, quality of life, and safety. In parallel, they take part in an innovation and leadership program in collaboration with EFL Executive Education.
Applications are now open for the third round of our Graduate Program – A 12‑month trainee programstarting September 8, 2026. We welcome your application no later than May 31, 2026.
The selection process is ongoing, and as we place great emphasis on matching candidates with projects, the process may take some time.
We have several roles in the program, within either engineering or finance, please apply to the roles you deem yourself qualified for.

We are looking for candidates who:
• Are newly graduated engineers or economists
• Have a strong interest in innovation, technology, and sustainable solutions
• Enjoy solving complex problems and thrive in a dynamic environment
• Want to contribute to meaningful societal impact and have a strong sense of purpose
• Have strong oral and written communication skills in English
In our Graduate Program

You will complete a 12‑month trainee program with permanent employment and a competitive salary. After completing the program, you continue your employment within the group.
Work in one of our portfolio companies or at the Group. -
You will lead a real‑world project where you influence the direction and scope, while gaining broad insight into the company’s operations. All this, while you develop your abilities in innovation, problem-solving, and leadership.

You will be coached by experienced mentors and experts from both the group and EFL Executive Education, while working in an inspiring environment at our own “Sandberg Valley” at Jägersro in Malmö.
